Engagement and employability seminar - how business can impact on solutions to homelessness
back to SHEN EVENTS

Date: 29 th June 2005
Venue: VisitScotland, Thistle House, Beechwood Park North, Inverness IV2 3ED

How to register?

SBC and SHEN are working together to demonstrate the business case for developing sustainable employment initiatives for people who are experiencing homelessness. Employment is recognised as an effective route out of homelessness, and the Scottish business community can work in partnership with SHEN members to meet the challenge of resolving homelessness through employment.

This seminar will bring together members of the local and national business community and organisations working with those experiencing homelessness. We will explore ways in which business can support and benefit from engagement and partnership working, aiming for a positive impact on homelessness and an enhanced position in the local community through sustainable employment practices.
